Ron Paul won New York city's first straw poll at the Young Republican's debate. This was fairly impressive being that it is Rudy Guliani's 'home city'. One had to be a member and pay a $35 fee to vote. The results are as follows:
Paul - 26
Guliani - 21
Romney - 6
McCain - 4
Huckabee - 2
Hunter - 1
Thompson - 1
Cox - 0
Keys - 0
Tancredo - 0
These were total votes, not percentages. Ron Paul received 43% of the vote.
